In Perform, you can request feedback from your co-workers anytime—no need to wait for review season!
If you’re a manager, you can also request feedback on your direct reports from other co-workers.
How to request feedback about yourself from others
You can ask co-workers to give you feedback, to gather input on your performance.
To request feedback from others:
Click the Employee Feedback button on your dashboard, profile view, or feedback view.
Click the Feedback Type dropdown and select Feedback about me.
Click the Feedback Action dropdown and select Request.
Click the Request From field and begin typing a coworker's name.
Click the correct name(s) in the list of results.
Click to check or uncheck default Questions For Request.
Enter custom questions in the Custom Questions fields, if you’d like to create your own questions.
Click Next.
Add a title and description, if you like.
Click Submit.
The people you’re requesting feedback from will receive an action item on their dashboard and can respond to it from there or from their feedback view.
Once they respond, you can find their feedback on the feedback tab of your profile or in the Requests section of your feedback view.
Note: You can include a total of 5 questions on your feedback request, whether default or custom questions.
How to request feedback about someone else
If you’re a manager, you can ask others to provide feedback about your direct reports, to get input on how well they’re performing, collaborating, etc.
To request feedback on a direct report:
Click the Employee Feedback button on your dashboard, profile view, or feedback view.
Click the Feedback Type dropdown and select Feedback about someone else.
Click the Feedback Action dropdown and select Request.
Click the Recipient dropdown and enter your direct report’s name. Choose the correct name(s) from the list of results
Click the Request From field and begin typing a coworker's name. Choose the correct name(s) in the list of results.
Click to check or uncheck default Questions For Request.
Enter custom questions in the Custom Questions fields, if you’d like to create your own questions.
Click Next.
Add a title and description, if you like.
Click Submit.
The people you’re requesting feedback from will receive an email and an action item on their dashboard. They can respond to the request there or from their feedback view.
You can check the status of the request in the Requests section of your feedback view. Once others respond, you can find their feedback in the employee’s profile and in the right sidebar of their 1:1s and Reviews.

How to remind employees to give or request feedback
Perform automatically sends a quarterly email to encourage all employees to give or request feedback. If you’re an admin, you can check when the next reminder is scheduled, or send the reminder email any time.
To send a feedback nudge to all employees:
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Click Perform Preferences.
Click Feedback on the left.
Click Send Now under Give/Request Feedback Reminder.
