With the Slack integration, your team can get Perform notifications right in Slack.
You can:
See public recognition posts
Get updates about feedback posts and comments
Get updates when personal and department goals are changed
How to enable the Slack integration
You’ll need admin permissions to enable the integration.
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Click Company Settings.
Click Integrations on the left side of the window.
Find Slack and click Connect.
Follow the prompts to allow access for the integration.
Once connected, public recognition posts will be shared in the channel you selected. Each employee on your Perform account can manage their own notifications in their user settings.
How to manage Slack notifications
With the Slack integration enabled, you can customize your notification settings in Perform.
By default, you’ll be notified in Slack when:
You receive recognition or feedback
Someone edits your personal goals
Someone edits your department's goals
Someone edits a team member’s individual goals (for managers)
Someone on your team receives recognition or feedback (for managers)
You have a 1:1 coming up (in 24 hours)
Someone edits your 1:1 agenda
To change your notification settings:
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Click User Settings.
Click Notifications on the left side of the window.
Check or uncheck options to turn notifications on or off.
Click Save Changes.
