Admins on your Perform account can invite other employees to join your company individually and in bulk, with a list or a CSV import.
How to add employees with a list or individually
By default, the person who invites another employee is assigned as their manager. You can opt out of this role and assign managers when inviting employees, and can assign or change the manager later.
Inviting a batch of employees
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Click Invite Users.
Enter or paste employee email addresses, separated by commas or line breaks, and click Next.
If you don’t want to be the manager associated with the employees you’re inviting, uncheck I am the primary manager for these employees.
Verify or edit the employees’ names and click Next.
If you’d like to assign all the employees on the list to the same department or location, click to select these options and enter the correct info.
To specify different departments or locations for each employee on the list, click to select these options and enter the correct info for each employee.
Click Send Invites.
The employees you invite will receive an email with a link to sign in to Breezy Perform.
💡Tip!
If you have a list of employees in a spreadsheet or other file, you can copy and paste a list of email addresses from a single column.
Inviting an individual employee
When you add employees individually, you can decide whether or not to send them an invite email.
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Click Company Settings.
Click Employees on the left-hand side of the window.
Click Add Employee near the top of the window.
Enter the employee’s name, email address, manager, and other details.
Click Add Employee or Add and Send Invite.
Add Employee will add the employee to their manager’s lists of direct reports, but they won’t receive an email notification.
Add and Send Invite will add the employee and send them an email invitation to sign into Perform.
Note: Some employee data can be created on the fly, like job title, department, and location. Just type what you’re looking for, and if it’s not already on the list, it will be created and saved.
How to import employees with a CSV file
You can import complete employee records with a CSV file using the following column headings:
user_name* (employee full name)
user_login* (employee email)
manager_login (manager email)
secondary_manager_logins (secondary manager email)
user_title (job title)
user_department (department name)
location (work location)
hire_date (hire date)
external_uuid (employee ID)

Downloading a CSV template
You can download a CSV template that includes the required field names.
To download the template from the Perform app:
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Click Company Settings.
Click Employees on the left-hand side of the window.
Click Add Employee near the top of the window.
Click the .csv file link in the box in the top-left corner of the window.
Choose a location and save the file to your computer.
Uploading a CSV file
When your CSV file is complete with employee data, you can upload it from the employee list.
To import employees with a CSV:
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Click Company Settings.
Click Employees on the left-hand side of the window.
Click Add Employee near the top of the window.
Drag your CSV file to the box in the top-left corner of the window.
Click Import to confirm.
Note: Employees added via import will not receive an invite email. You can send invitations manually from the employee list.
How to send an email invite
If you’d like to send (or resend) an email invite manually, you can do that from the employee list.
To send an email invite:
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Click Company Settings.
Click Employees on the left-hand side of the window.
Find the correct employee on the list and click the More icon (ellipsis) on the right-hand side.
Click Send Invite.
